KazdorNIA specialists have started inspecting asphalt concrete plants in Kazakhstan. Their readiness for the new construction season and high-quality production of asphalt concrete mixtures will be checked, as well as control over laboratories where materials are tested.

At the moment, a commission of experts and scientists from the Research Institute, together with the National Center for Road Asset Quality, is conducting a survey of asphalt concrete plants in Zhambyl region.

There are more than 300 asphalt concrete plants operating in Kazakhstan. Specialists of the Kazakhstan Road Research Institute plan to inspect each plant in order to verify their compliance with quality standards and regulations.

All inspection results will be available in the Unified Database of Road Construction Materials (rcmbase.kz), created with the support of the Committee of Highways of the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Data on the location, owner, technical characteristics, participation in projects, availability of laboratories, condition of sieves, weight dispensers and compliance with environmental safety measures of asphalt concrete plants will be presented here.

It should be recalled that the creation of a Unified database of road construction materials is designed to improve the quality of road construction materials, ensure transparency in the selection of suppliers and systematize the use of materials and technologies in road construction.
