Kazakhstani road workers visited Poland, where they got acquainted with the methods and stages of design, construction and operation of European roads using the example of the section of the Warsaw-Krakow highway under construction.

During the working trip, the delegation of scientists and experts got acquainted with the transport and operational condition of roads in the EU, the traffic management system, infrastructure and roadside service.

The site visit was organized jointly with Fabe Polska road construction company as part of the work of the National Committee of the World Road Association (PIARC) in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The host party told the representatives of KazdorNIA about the design and construction technologies used in Poland, and showed the quality control processes of the work performed. At the same time, experts discussed their application and adaptation possibilities in Kazakhstan.

The delegation of Kazakhstan noted the high level of road management in Poland and plans to use the studied methods and technologies in its work. The acquired knowledge and valuable experience will contribute to improving the quality of road construction and operation in Kazakhstan, as they will also be taken into account when updating the domestic industry regulatory framework.

Recall that since last year, the Kazakhstan Road Research Institute has been working to update the industry regulatory and technical framework based on the best practices of the United States, the EU, China and other developed countries.
