The results of the contest for awarding state educational grants for PhD degree in the field of “ Transport Building ” have been announced.

For the first time in the history of the country future scientists in the road sector will be trained with state educational grants. At the end of the contest 10 people were admitted to the doctoral program in this direction.

Recall that, according to earlier analysis, currently the road sector of Kazakhstan lacks about 1.5 thousand diploma holders. During the years of independence, only in 2023 appeared the first two PhD in transportation construction, who were trained at their own expense.

As a result of joint work of the Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education and JSC “KazdorNII” to address one of the systemic problems of staff shortage in the road sector this year was allocated 10 grants for the training of future PhD doctors in the direction of “Transport Building”.
