The President congratulated transport workers on their professional holiday and emphasized that, as true working people, they make a significant contribution to the development of Kazakhstan. The Head of State ceremoniously presented state awards to citizens who have made a significant contribution to the development of the transport industry, as well as to the establishment and modernization of the country's transport infrastructure.

Among those awarded was Abdiashim Shalkarov, a leading researcher at JSC “Kazakhstan Road Research Institute”, who was awarded the Order of “Kurmet”.
