Relevant issues of road construction and maintenance in the East Kazakhstan region were addressed at a seminar organized by AO KazdorNII. Supported by the Committee of Highways of the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the event took place at the East Kazakhstan Technical University named after D. Serikbayev (EKTU).

During the seminar, representatives from contracting organizations and key government bodies joined forces to discuss crucial topics related to the implementation of innovative technologies in road construction. Special attention was given to the use of geosynthetic materials, soil stabilization methods, and enhancing asphalt concrete mixtures through specialized additives.

The seminar served as a platform for discussing cutting-edge innovations in road construction. Participants explored the latest materials and design methods, while also analyzing successful practices in applying similar technologies in other regions and countries. The main focus was on adapting these innovations to the specific conditions of the East Kazakhstan region.

Among the invited experts were leading specialists and researchers from the "Transport Construction" department of the East Kazakhstan Technical University (EKTU), as well as representatives from major contracting organizations in the East Kazakhstan region. Representatives from the Republican State Enterprise "National Road Assets Quality Center" and "National Company KazAvtoZhol" were also in attendance.

The seminar provided a unique opportunity for exchanging experiences and knowledge among specialists from different organizations and institutions. This event aimed to stimulate the integration of the latest approaches and technologies into the region's road construction, which, in turn, will positively impact the quality of infrastructure and the well-being of the residents of the East Kazakhstan region.
