Vice-President of JSC "KazdorNII" Yerik Amirbayev, as a member of the Kazakhstan delegation, visited the State of Qatar to study experience and technologies in the field of road construction. The delegation also included representatives of RSE NCCADA, Asphalt Concrete Plants of Astana and Almaty, "UnidAs Group" LLP, as well as contractors.

During the trip the delegation visited large plants for production of asphalt concrete mixtures and plants for production of polymer-bitumen binder. In addition, training seminars and demonstrations of the latest technologies, materials and equipment in the field of highway construction were held.

Working meetings with local experts allowed to discuss issues related to the regulatory and technical base, design of multilayer pavements depending on transportation loads, application of polymers in asphalt concrete layers, quality control and other aspects of road construction. Agreements were reached on further cooperation between Qatar and the delegation from Kazakhstan.

It is worth noting that both states are actively developing infrastructure and investing in road construction. Qatar, as an economic entity with significant resources, is highly active in the construction and modernization of its road network. Kazakhstan is also making significant efforts to modernize its road infrastructure, including the introduction of the latest technologies and the use of modern materials.

The exchange of experience and cooperation between Qatar and Kazakhstan in the field of road construction can be mutually beneficial. Both countries have the opportunity to improve their practices and apply best practices, which will lead to improved road infrastructure quality and road safety in both countries.
