Scientists from KazdorNII JSC have presented a series of innovative materials for road dust control.

The QSmart Anti-Dust range includes several types of reagents for different road conditions:

• QSmart Anti-Dust — a universal reagent for artificial surfaces and temporary roads that effectively reduces dust levels even under heavy traffic and high temperatures;
• QSmart Anti-Dust Polymer — a polymer compound with anti-corrosion properties that can be used even on “fresh concrete,” creating a durable protective coating;
• QSmart Anti-Dust Black Road — an innovative reagent with a blackening effect, suitable for dust suppression on territories and access roads of quarries, temporary roads and tailings ponds, improving the appearance of road pavement and reducing dustiness.

Domestic scientists claim that these materials are easy to use, provide prolonged dust control, and reduce road maintenance costs.

The QSmart product line has already been presented at an international seminar of the World Road Association (PIARC), where it attracted the interest of specialists from around the world. The institute provides a full cycle of technological support, from laboratory research to implementation at construction sites, which allows solutions to be quickly adapted to specific operating conditions.

Thus, the developments of Kazakh scientists can become an important step towards improving the safety, efficiency, and environmental friendliness of road infrastructure, making roads more comfortable for drivers and reducing the negative impact on the environment.
