The Unified base of road construction materials and new technologies is to be expanded with a new section. The Machines and Mechanisms Registry will be introduced in Rcmbase.kz «KazdorNII» JSC announces the launch of Machines and Mechanisms Registry. The digital catalogue is a list of new and innovative machines and mechanisms for road construction, the purpose of which is to collect information on the new machinery used to update the technological maps.

«Modernization of the road sector and introduction of advanced technologies and equipment play a notable role in improving the quality of road construction and operation. The use of modern equipment increases the productivity and safety of construction and repair processes. For this purpose, we intend to collect all information about the existing road construction equipment fleet in the country: roller-compactors, pavers, concrete paver machines and other machines manufactured from 2000. The obtained data will be included in the Machines and Mechanisms Registry. The purpose of the registry is to revise the technological maps, estimated rates, regulations on traditional and new technologies for the repair and construction of roads on the basis of the obtained data. Based on the registry data it will be possible to update the prices in a timely manner for the operation of machines and mechanisms in the collections developed by KazdorNII to determine the estimated cost of average, ongoing repairs and maintenance of roads», explains Asemgul Aikenova, Director of Pricing and Estimated Norms Department of KazdorNII.

The new subsection will become the fifth registry of the Unified base of road-building materials and new technologies. Rcmbase.kz already has registers of new technologies, asphalt concrete plants, accredited laboratories and technical means of road traffic safety.

In addition, the information system has a Gis-map of asphalt concrete plants, sand and stone quarries, which allows builders to quickly find the nearest manufacturer of construction materials with the most suitable product quality without intermediaries.

The unified database was created to increase the level of transparency of road construction, in particular, in the selection of construction materials for road construction and repair.
