Employees of “KazdorNII”, under an agreement with “DamitiLegaGroup” LLP, took part in a joint project to construct a pilot section of a road in the capital of Uzbekistan.

As a result, in Tashkent, with the participation of the Uzbek side (as well as specialists from Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Germany), an experimental section with an area of 1.5 thousand square meters was built, where the wearing course of the road surface was created using a complex asphalt concrete modifier based on rubber crumb and unique composite materials.

The tasks of Kazakhstan specialists included solving the issue of selecting the optimal mixture of traditional crushed-stone-mastic asphalt concrete with a modifying additive RKM-2.

In the long term, it is planned to determine the effectiveness of the use of the modifier when creating polymer-asphalt-concrete pavement.
