A unified digital database on road construction materials and technologies has been developed in Kazakhstan

KazdorNII is conducting a complete digitalization of the road industry. A unified digital database has been created to ensure transparency and evaluate the effectiveness of the construction materials and technologies used. Today, the Institute's specialists are developing standard road structures for each region, taking into account soil and climatic features.

"The advantages of the database are transparency, integration of all road construction tools on one digital platform, exclusion of manufacturers' preferences, falsifications about the quality of road construction materials. Any participant in road construction will be able to find the necessary information for use at the design and construction stage. The specified road base already includes 642 quarries, 382 asphalt plants and 98 new technologies," Arman Alibayeva, President of KazdorNII JSC, said at a Government meeting.

✔ A single digital database allows you to rank new materials and technologies according to their effectiveness. The status is determined by color: green confirms the successful result of the test in the laboratory and at the test site, yellow is assigned during the testing process. As of today, the electronic list contains 98 materials and technologies, with the use of which 56 pilot sites have been built in different regions of Kazakhstan.
