The Congress brought together over a hundred delegates from Kazakhstan, Russia and other countries to discuss the use of bitumen materials in road construction.

The Second Congress included sessions on the following hot topics: polymer-modified bitumen and polymer-asphalt mixtures, bitumen terminals, export and import of bitumen and surfactant, laboratory equipment and quality control equipment.

There was also a case study, which presented the real experience of road construction companies and their requirements for the quality of materials used.

From “KazdorNII” JSC, the director of RCM and NT department, Asel Nugmanova, made a report “The procedure for including new technologies into the register”, where the structure and interface of the unified database of RCM and NT, the classification of new technologies and the procedure for approbation of new technologies were presented.
