New Standards and the Unified Base: KazdorNII Provides Free Training for Road Sector Professionals

This year, Kazakhstan’s road industry is undergoing comprehensive reforms. Key innovations include the formal adoption of the Unified Road Construction Materials and Technologies Unified Base (rcmbase.qazjolgzi.kz) in the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On Highways” as a mandatory industry tool, the introduction of bridge monitoring regulations, the transition to modern design methods, and the raising of qualification requirements for specialists.

The incorporation of the Unified Base into legislation grants it official status and makes its use obligatory for all road sector participants, including contractors, suppliers, designers, accredited laboratories, and technical supervision services. This measure aims to enhance transparency and improve the quality of road design, construction, and maintenance.

To explain these changes and help industry participants implement them in practice, KazdorNII organizes free webinars and meetings. Contractors, technical supervision services, designers, accredited laboratories, suppliers, and specialized design institutes take part. The goal of these sessions is to ensure high-quality content and optimization of the Unified Base, clarify updated regulatory requirements, establish a unified approach to their application, and foster effective collaboration among all industry stakeholders.

Following the webinars, proposals and feedback from specialists are collected. These inputs are taken into account in further development of the Unified Base and other areas of the ongoing reforms.

“We are open to constructive dialogue and ready to cooperate with all interested parties. The reforms being implemented are intended to become practical tools that will enhance the quality of the country’s road infrastructure,” emphasized KazdorNII.
