KazdorNII took part in a foresight session organized by the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan to discuss promising areas of science focused on solving future challenges, technological challenges of the real sector of the economy and the needs of the regions.

KazdorNIA specialists presented priority areas of research in the road industry, voicing current tasks and offering recommendations for their inclusion in the programs of targeted financing of scientific projects. The foresight session also discussed global and domestic trends, challenges and barriers, and promising technologies. The participants developed proposals on the topics of tasks for science, the solution of which will increase the competitiveness of the industry through the introduction of advanced domestic developments.

The foresight session was attended by leading scientists, representatives of industry associations and industry of Kazakhstan. The results of the foresight sessions will be used in setting priorities for grant and program-targeted financing. This session promotes the development of road science, including KazdorNII, and highlights the importance of scientific research to improve the country's road infrastructure.
