Specialists of KazdorNII JSC held a meeting with students and undergraduates of the Kazakh Automobile and Road Institute named after L.B. Goncharov (KazADI) on the topic: "New technologies and innovative solutions".

The purpose of the meeting is to popularize the specialty "Construction of highways and airfields". The participants of the meeting were introduced to new technologies and materials that are being tested and implemented by specialists of KazdorNII JSC in practice in the road industry of Kazakhstan.

"Special attention was paid to the introduction of new materials and technologies to improve the physical and mechanical characteristics of materials to strengthen the working layer of the roadbed, foundations, improve the physical, mechanical and operational properties of coating materials, primarily from various asphalt concrete mixtures, as well as repair materials (for asphalt concrete and cement concrete coatings), etc." - said the senior researcher the employee of the department of the Ministry of Mines Nazarenko Galina Viktorovna.

One of the main tasks that the institute solves is the use of various industrial wastes (drilling mud, phosphogypsum, rubber chips, sulfur, etc.), which not only improve the properties of traditional materials in symbiosis with other road construction materials, stabilizers, organic and inorganic binders, but also reduce the environmental burden.
