We are pleased to inform you that on 30 June the first international seminar on current issues of industrial waste recycling and prospects for the use of sulphur in road construction in Kazakhstan was held. The event, organized by "KazdorNII" JSC, attracted leading specialists and experts from various countries and organizations in Italy, Croatia, Canada, Russia, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan.
Important topics and reports related to the application of sulphur in the road industry were presented during the seminar. Experienced experts shared their findings, as well as spoke about building roads with sulfur asphalt, the prospects of using sulfur composite materials and examples of introducing sulfur as road construction material in Italy, Croatia, Canada, Russia, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan.
The seminar provided a unique opportunity for exchange of experience and knowledge between the participants. Scientists, engineers, university representatives and companies from Italy, Croatia, Canada, Russia, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan actively discussed current problems and scientific achievements in the field of industrial waste recycling and sulfur use, and discussed opportunities for cooperation and partnerships.
The event was held in a hybrid format, which allowed participants to choose a convenient way to participate: in-person attendance at the Institute in Astana or joining through the online platform Zoom. This format allowed participants from different geographical locations to take part in the workshop and contribute to the discussion.
