At the Academic Forum of Young Scientists of Greater Eurasia “Continent of Science”, which took place on November 2-3 in the Presidium of the Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS) in Moscow in partnership with the Executive Committee of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) and the International Association of Academies of Sciences, the winner of the 2nd place prize in the field of materials science was a young scientist from Kazakhstan, Nugmanova Assel, Director of the Scientific Center of the Kazakhstan Road Research Institute (“KazdorNII” JSC).

The Forum, dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the Russian Academy of Sciences, was held on the territory of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Institute of Scientific Information on Social Sciences of the Russian Academy of Sciences (ISISS RAS) and Skoltech. The best young scientists from 21 countries of near and far abroad, including Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Belarus, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Tajikistan, China, India, Iran, Mongolia, Vietnam, Indonesia, Pakistan, Serbia, Hungary, Ethiopia, Egypt and Cambodia, presented the results of their scientific research.

The report of Nugmanova Asel from “KazdorNII” JSC in the Presidium of the Russian Academy of Sciences not only proved the high level of scientific competence of Kazakhstan science, but also made a significant contribution to the development of world science.
